Is it a coincidence that INEOS are finalising their plans to undertake fracking between Goostrey and Altrincham just as Sibelco UK have submitted their planning applications for the silica sand quarry at Rudheath Lodge Farm? 

 It is a well known fact that silica sand is utilised by the fracking industry with Sibelco UK being one of the largest providers across the UK and beyond. 

 This should be a significant concern to everyone locally, and it’s a further reason for everyone in Goostrey, Cranage, Allostock, Holmes Chapel and beyond to object to Sibelco UK’s planning application by 24th August 2017 via e mail to both council’s via see below.
